What we do...
Ganawendan Wildlife works with local communities and schools to educate and encourage interest for Ontario wildlife.  Our goal is to help you, help wildlife. There is much for all of us to learn about the relationships between ourselves and nature and how essential we are to each other. We create fun interactive programs which result in tremendous enthusiasm and promise to make our world a better place. Once we have the power of knowledge, there is nothing we can’t accomplish together.

How did we start...
My concern for wildlife started on a hot summer day when we had found a Mallard duck who had a broken pelvis. I tried to find the closest wildlife center and found they were few and far between. After being helped by Woodlands Wildlife (thanks Monika!), something triggered me to pursue the expansion of much needed help for our wildlife. I then started taking courses and educated myself to become a wildlife rehabber which I currently do on a small scale. My passion is educating the public so this is where Ganawendan Wildlife came to be.  We have moved to our new location in Beaverton, Ontario and here, we will start our new wildlife programs. Wildlife is not our only passion…we have recently opened our barn to farm animals in need. Come see the hobby farm gang and get some great photos.

Our Motto: We promise to protect.

Offering wildlife education programs and family fun.
